Week 10- Disability Politics & Final Projects

A quick reminder, in case it was buried too deep in my previous message, to please prioritize the Brett, Hamraie, and Pirrone et al readings (along with as much of the Schalk as you can manage in the time available) as well as the example projects (you’re most welcome to explore the other readings as well, but I know that time is limited for all of us, so you’ll have them to go back to if you like over the summer).

I’ve also made the link for our individual project meetings during Week 11- please reserve your time here. These meetings are scheduled for 30 minutes each (I am happy to meet with any of you for additional time that we schedule after your first meeting, but I didn’t want to automatically compel everyone into a 1 hour meeting). You will notice that there are times for April 15 and 16- please try to book one of the listed times. If there is truly no way for you to meet during any of the available times, please email me and I’ll do my best to find a time that works (perhaps earlier in the day on either day, or over the weekend, as I have a conference from the 17-19).

Once you have booked a time, please try to blog a little bit about your project idea(s) before April 15, so I can prepare for our meeting and make the time as useful to you as possible. This post does not have to be long or incredibly detailed- a paragraph would be enough (or a few paragraphs if you are deciding between multiple possible project ideas- one for each)
